June E. Fogle

June Elizabeth Fogle, 68, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024, at her home in Beaufort, South Carolina.  She was born September 3, 1955, in Beaufort to the late Ralph Thomas Fogle and Nellie Lassiter Fogle.  She worked as a nurse before becoming an attorney with the Chatham County District Attorney's office. She most recently was an attorney with the Georgia Public Defender's Office where she retired after 23 years of service.  She was also an attorney for the Port Wentworth courts.

June is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Melea Fogle of Augusta, GA, niece and her husband, Amanda and David Shaver of Savannah, nephews, Stephen Michael Fogle of Augusta, GA, and Eric Thomas Fogle of Pensacola, FL, great-niece, Morgan Shaver, and great-nephew, Liam Fogle of Augusta, GA.  She is also survived by her many friends in Beaufort, SC, and Savannah. 

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and after the service.
